The Team
This year 2006, we started out in Key West  at the Hogsbreath had some trouble with the weather and out boat but managed to bring in a 27lb King.
The shoot out in May has been our team highlight up to now, with a double header on two kings a 58lb and a 52lb. What a great day! Harrison brought in the 58lb and Lance fought the second one at the same time.


January 2005 - Ready to fish a new year, Young Guns qualifies to fish the Pro Division of the SKA.

Captain Lance Irvine(above right), has been fishing the local tournaments here in South Florida since 1994. Born in South Africa and logged 30,000 miles at sea. Traveled most of the world including: New Zealand, South America, Carribean, Azores, Canada and Alaska.Congratulations to Lance for the acceptance of a Mercury Pro-Team Sponsorship. Father to our one year old son, Hunter Irvine and two daughters Katie and Megan. Step-father to part of Young Guns Fishing Team, Harrison (pictured above left) 17, and Houston 10 (centered). Also 15 year-old Cassie who is our female angler.

Owner of Atlantic Boat Sales and Rentals in Pompano Beach, member of Lauderdale Yacht Club, local resident of Fort Lauderdale and Great Dad!

Harrison and Cassie attend Saint Thomas Aquainas High School and Houston attends Bayview Elementary School. Wife and mom Becky Irvine, website manager, loves boating and fishing as well.

Atlantic 40, the newest addition to the Young Guns fishing team.

Designed by Lance and built for fishing, everything from hugh
fish lockers to 40 Gallon livewells. Lance built this boat from the bottom up to with stand the conditions of the Atlantic Ocean
and the rigorous miles often
needed to compete in fishing tournaments along the east
coast of Florida.

This is a 40' pure center console fishing machine, over 60 rod holders, down riggers, outriggers and all the top of the line in electronics.

 Expect to see her at the Southern Kingfish Association, Nationals
in Biloxi Mississippi November
19th and fishing the SKA and
other tournaments in 2005.
